Concert and performance at the Capilla de los Dolores (Grado, 2024)
The same evening the ADAR Festival presented its main programme at the Palacio de Miranda-Valdecarzana, visual artist Sarah K. Williams transformed the Capilla de los Dolores in Grado with a uniquely creative installation and performance, in which the musicians interacted with her piece while performing the Duo by Jessie Montgomery.
The Capilla de los Dolores, which the previous year had hosted a solo-flute micro concert, was transformed in 2024 by a site-specific installation from Sarah K. Williams, an artist based in New York.
The festival musicians performed Jessie Montgomery's Duo inside Williams's installation.
